Further to my December 31 post, the ideas are continuing to flow and I’ve now turned my one-shot into a 3 part story.
I also have an idea for an alternate universe Nancy Drew story that I’ve just started to map out and write. I’m going to try and keep my promise to myself to not post it until it’s completed, or at least I’ve gotten very far along into it. I hate leaving things sitting and I’m not the fastest writer. As a reader, I know how annoying it is to wait for the next part of a story that is incomplete, so I will keep this one under wraps for now.
This is totally going against my plan to stick to short stories and one-shots, but I couldn’t help myself. In the meantime, I will continue to work on writing additional one-shots as ideas strike me that don’t fit into my current plans for my story.
Also, that Nancy Drew season 3 finale was devastating, so if you haven’t seen it yet, please prepare yourself. (Why do we like to torture ourselves with angst and tragedy? Because I love it and am going back for more.)
